Etta’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her mother, Dionne Cartmill, recently shared on The Nolan Show that while the kidney issues were expected, the need for a liver transplant came as a complete shock just a year ago. After an 11-hour surgery last September, Etta’s recovery was grueling—she required ventilation, and her abdomen had to be partially covered with a mesh due to swelling. Olly’s story is equally inspiring. At just 13kg (29lbs), he underwent a kidney transplant in September 2023, receiving a live donation from his grandmother, Michelle. Since then, he’s blossomed into the energetic, playful boy his family always knew he could be. ‘He’s full of life, full of ideas,’ Dionne proudly shared.
